I  really wanted to take some family pic's for my hubby's birthday today....um YA right.  I forgot we are WACKY and that is pretty much impossible........WARNING......don't try this if you want to {stay} in a *happy* mood for the rest of the evening.....I'm just {sayin'} ;) My phone wouldn't quit ringing......someone's head was ALWAYs in the wrong place......the boys kept giving each other looks that could kill.......then proceeded to tick off their lil' sis........I don't know how many times I heard "ARE WE DONE YET?"!  Oh Well, so much for a "perfect" family photo, but that's us in a nutshell!  {Nut being the key word here}  :D:D:D

I'm getting my first PHOTO Published!!!!!

You girls (you know who you are) ;) have been SO supportive of me and my endless picture taking, so I just had to announce my good news on my blog!

One of my recent photos is going to appear in Candice Stringham's Through the Lens column in an upcoming issue Creating Keepsakes Magazine!!!!!!!!!!  I *hEaRt her work!!!  Okay I think I'm going to burst from happiness now.  ;)

BG {TOP Designer} Winner to be ANNOUNCED and late Friday Favs!!!

This has been an EXCITING (to say the least) Season of BAD GIRLS TOP DESIGNER!!!!  Wendy Rago will be announcing the winner very very soon!!!!  Be sure to check out the Gallery it's Overflowing with inspiration, these girls are so talented and their Passion for Playing with Paper has shown through beautifully!  It was an incredible experience to be on the other side of TD this year and to be able to teach my Breaking the Rules Class for week 6 was SO FrEaKing fun!  I can't believe the amount of work that Wendy, Tracie, Ania and the dt has to put into it to make this happen, but I'm sure everyone feels the same way, that it is worth every second!  Good LUCK GIRLS!

I was so busy Friday and Saturday, I didn't get a chance to post my Friday FAVES.........so here's a quickie run down on my faves from last week.....

1.  My dh came home from a Week long business trip.. YAY!!!!  he was SO missed!!

2. Lovely Funky Reminisce Prize Package showed up early and brightened my day!!  This paper is SCREAMING "PLAY WITH ME!!!!"  *lOvE* it.  Thank you again Reminisce!!!!!

3.  I found these pretties at the $1 Store.....hmmmm might have to use them with the Reminisce!  ;)

4.  These Senior 411 Cards I designed up Came Earlier than expected too!  LOVE U.P.S.!! I can't WAIT to deliver these babies to this awesome senior!!

 

 5.  My AWEsome oldest son let me "in on" his "secret" hunting spot.......THAT I'm SO stealing for senior sessions!!!!!!!!!!  Thanks Rob! ;

I've bEeN *Tagged*

Okay so it's been a while since I've escaped being "tagged"  LOL Thanks a LOT Dena!  ;) j/k  you sweet cutie pie!!!  So here's the deal......

So here I go.....

1.  I HATE excersizing.  it SUCKS.  On the rare, random occasion that I do, I love how I feel like a million bucks and in my head I even "look" better.  LOL ya, whatever, I'm delusional.... it's never lastest for more than 2 days in a row anyway.   So now that I'm older.....when I feel like I really need to start working out, I'll just wait for the feeling to leave.  That pretty much works for me.  ;)

2.  Peanut Butter Chocolate Icecream pretty much solves all my problems. 

3.  I am more terrified of a praying mantis than I am of snakes! Dude!  Serious if there are such things as aliens, THIS is what they MUST look like.  Am I wrong??

4.  When I was young and stupid, I majored in Political Science and wanted to be an attorney and change the World!  LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL  sorry that's not funny LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL and Now I hate arguing politics, and just try to hold onto everything in my life that is beautiful and dear to me.

5.  I've had more hairstyles and hair colors than I can count....someday I'll make a scrapbook page. ;)

6.  Audrey Hepburn is my IDOL.  She led a very inspiring life and just simply RAWKED!  This is one of my favorite quotes:

7.  I LOVE to learn, and would rather read than watch T.V........but anything having to do with math makes me feel like a complete idiot. ;)

5 FRIday Favs!!!!!

I *hEaRt* Fridays!!!!!  I don't know why,cause I usually work on Saturdays.....but I should say "play", not "work" cause thats what my work is to me.  Soooooo shutting up now...here are this weeks Friday Favs....

1.  IN LOVE with this fun new Fabric I picked up!  I {Don't} sew anymore, excet on  paper occasionally, so I won't be sewing with this. ;)

 

2.  This cute lil' guy to brighten up my work area.  (As if my red walls aren't bright enough, lol)

 

3.  RIFF RAFF laser cut chipboard!  I always rant an rave about it, but just LOOK at THESE....are they not the cutest EVER??

   

4.  Stocked up on some more Thickers this week!  LOVE Thickers!  You can nEvEr have too many....except I might be on the verge of heading that way. ;)

 

5.  Anne of Green Gables....I'm a hopeless old fashioned romantic at heart.....I swear I watch the whole collection once a year!  BUT GUESS what?  I just realized my collectors edition has a 4th movie to it??!!  How did I not notice before???  lol It's suppose to be set 5 years after Anne and Gil "finally" get together, but "Anne" has a few more lines in her face, and "Gil" has some graying hairs, lol but if you can ignore that it's so cute!

~sCrApPin girLfRiEnDs~ Halloween Layout

I had SOOOO much fun, making this dt layout for Scrappin' Girlfriends!  I love all the little cute stuff and treats at Halloween, but the TRICKS are another story....my son scared me SO FREAKin bad with this mask, I'll never live it down.  I hate scary movies and freaky things.......I can't even talk about it, I'm already going to have nightmares.   I WILL get him back though ;););)

cream cheese {PUMPKIN} bars

 These are soooooooooo yummy, I make them every year. I am NO "Betty Crocker" ;)  but since this is a Betty Crocker recipe it actually RAWKS!  ;)  This time I used mini chocolate chips, and it tastes even better!  The original recipe calls for cranberries,  HUH?  sorry, not for this chocolate lovin' Family!  OH, and if "i" can make these ANYone can.  ;)

4 eggs

2cups sugar

1cup vegetable oil

1 can (16 ounces) pumpkin

2 cups flour

2 tsp baking powder

2 tsp ground cinnamon

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp ground ginger

1/4 tsp ground cloves

1 cup mini chocolate chips ;)

Heat oven to 350 degrees.  Grease jelly roll pan, 15.5 x 10.5 x 1 ".  Beat eggs, sugar, oil, and pumpkin in large bowl.  Stir in flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, ginger and cloves. Stir in chocolate chips.  Spread in Pan.

Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until  light brown, cool completely.  Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting.  Refrigerate any remaining bars.

Cream Cheese Frosting ( i double this )

1 - 3 ounce package cream cheese

1/4 cup butter softened

1 tsp vanilla

2 cups powdered sugar

Mix cream cheese, butter, and vanilla. Gradually beat in powdered sugar till smooth.

Is it fattening??? of COURSE.  ;) would it be yumerz otherwise?

my friday {Favs}

Okay....short and sweet.  I've been staring at the computer screen WAY too long this week. 

1. Meeting my {BAD GIRL} friend Gina, who's gonna kick my butt if I don't email her pic's soon!  Too much Fun!   

2. Making a Crazy fun Show Card for Jump Company.    

3. 3.  REaliZing that I have a sick obsession with 7 Gypsies Gaffer tape, and liking it.  ;)  4.  Halloween York Peppermint Patties, YUM! 

5.  and last but not least ........being 2nd runner up in the Reminisce dt contest!   

What a crazy fun week.  now NO more computer for me for a while!!!!

I have so many fav's this week it's hard to narrow down, but I'll try.  ;)  This is easier than I thought it would be......

1. Number one HAS to be that I get to meet my super sweet friend GinaDJ from Bad Girls in person very VERY soon!!!!! (hopefully) I can give her good directions to my house, ;) lol.

2. Okay this is one of my FAVorite pic's from work this week.  My mentor risking life and limb ;) (a true dieHARD) to help me get the shot I wanted.......LOL You RAWK Lou!!
